Afternoon Book Club- Held Year Round
Thursday, Aug. 29, 1pm
We will be discussing Just the Nicest Couple by Mary Kubica.
Next Meeting will be held: September 26th, 1 pm (Book will be decided at the August meeting.)


Kid's Book Club- Held in the summer
Kids entering grades 4 and 5 are welcome to participate in the Summer Book Club for Kids weekly on Wednesdays at 4:30pm starting July 10th! The kids will be reading and discussing The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. You can pick up a copy of the book from the library.

Each meeting a child attends will award them a special raffle ticket for the Summer Reading Raffle. This means that instead of getting to fill out just one raffle ticket for reading this book, the child can receive up to 6 additional Book Club raffle tickets depending on how many meetings they attend. For more information, see Miss Alix.

The following chapters should be read by the following dates:

Wednesday, July 10 - Chapters 1-3
Wednesday, July 17 - Chapters 4-6
Wednesday, July 24 - Chapters 7-9
Wednesday, July 31 - Chapters 10-12
Wednesday, August 7 - Chapters 13-15
Wednesday, August 14 - Chapters 16 and 17

Please register for each meeting your child is able to attend.

After the book club is completed, there will be a viewing of the movie adaptation on Monday, August 19th starting at 5:30pm. A snack and water will be provided.


Mystery Box Book Club- Ongoing starting 8/16/2024
Ever wanted to be part of a book club but don't necessarily want to read what the book club is reading, or you don't have time to make it to the meeting, or heck, you just don't want to be social? This is the book club for you. Fill out the form below and we will curate a book box just for you! Each book box will contain two surprise books, a snack, and an activity. Boxes will be available for pick up approximately 1 week after completing the form. Physical forms can be found at the front desk of the library or you can fill out a form online.

Books and Bites- Runs September-November and January-May
Each month we will read a different genre. Join us each month to explore a variety of genres, or only join the months that you want! Each month, besides discussing the book, we encourage participants to bring a bite to share that's inspired by the book! *Participants are responsible for getting their own books for the meeting.
